Founded in 2017 by creative director Agata D. Dzialocha, Opaak emerged from a desire to blend sustainability, function and feminine strength in contemporary bodywear. With a background in luxury fashion across cities like Stockholm and Amsterdam, Agathe shifted her focus to more conscious creation guided by her enduring muse: women.

Born from personal need and creative curiosity, Opaak celebrates movement, self-expression and independence. Agata’s journey - from high fashion to founding her own brand, and from personal reinvention to single motherhood - informs every piece she designs. The name Opaak is inspired by the technical German word "opak", meaning non-transparent. It suggests a texture that withholds full visibility - offering only a hint, a sensation, while keeping its depth and truth hidden.

For me, this concept holds power and beauty. It’s a quiet rebellion against the noise from the outside, and a celebration of the inner self-intuition, confidence, and mystery. Opaak is a reminder that true strength doesn’t always need to be seen to be felt.

I design for a woman who embraces understated luxury. She values comfort without compromise, and wears her confidence like a second skin. I think of those with a strong sense of self - women who know how to weave style into their own rhythm, effortlessly and intuitively.

My design embraces creative freedom with a bold touch of audacity. Opaak bodywear breaks conventional lingerie norms, inspired by Readytowear and minimalistic architectural silhouettes. With reduced color palettes and minimal embellishment, the focus is on structure, smart textiles, and technical beauty.

This for me is intelligent sensuality - quiet confidence rooted in craftsmanship and an understanding of the female form. From avant-garde to daily essentials, each piece supports movement, comfort, and individuality, empowering the body through style.
